Day 1 - Arrival in Srinagar

Day 2 - Food Walks & Spice Tales
• Morning Bakery Breakfast: Visit a local Kandur (traditional Kashmiri baker) for Girda, Lavasa, Sheermal, Tsot with Noon Chai (salt tea) and Kehwa (saffron green tea).
• Visit Zaina Kadal & Maharaj Gunj, historic markets where aromas of spices, kebabs, and breads fill the air.
• Taste Harissa (slow-cooked winter delicacy, available in mornings), Seekh Kebabs, Nadru Pakoras, Fish Fry, and Modur Pulav.
• Afternoon: Guided Spice Market Tour – learn about Kashmiri saffron, dry fruits, and spices like fennel, cardamom, and Kashmiri chilies that make the cuisine unique.
• Evening: Kashmiri Tea Tasting at a heritage tea house – sample different varieties of Kehwa, Noon Chai, and Kahwa blends with walnut fudge (shufta).
• Dinner: Street Food Tasting – enjoy dishes like Kabargah (mutton ribs), Nadru Tikki, and Kashmiri bakery sweets.
• Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 3 - Village Cooking & Wazwan Fest
• After breakfast, half-day excursion to a nearby Kashmiri village.
• Join a local family in their kitchen:
-Hands-on cooking class to learn signature dishes like Dum Aloo (potato curry), Yakhni (curd-based curry), and Kehwa preparation.
• Understand the cultural rituals behind food—why meals are served on the floor, how spices are ground, and why Wazwan is always shared.
• Lunch: Enjoy a homely meal with the family, served in the traditional Kashmiri way.
• Afternoon return to Srinagar.
• Evening: Grand Wazwan Feast Night – dine like royalty with the full 36-course Wazwan spread (curated selection for visitors).
• Highlights include Rista (meatballs in red gravy), Gushtaba, Rogan Josh, Tabak Maaz, and Kashmiri pulao.
• Served with storytelling by the head Waza (master chef) explaining the history of each dish.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar
Day 4 - Flavors to Take Back Home
Breakfast: Sheermal with Kehwa.
Morning visit to Pampore saffron fields (seasonal) or a local dry fruit shop for authentic shopping.
Carry back Kashmiri tea blends, saffron, dry fruits, and spices as souvenirs of flavor.
Drop at Srinagar Airport with sweet memories and a rich taste of Kashmir.
