You're received at the airport and transferred to your houseboat or hotel for check-in, then head out for a half-day of sightseeing: Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh along Dal Lake's eastern shore, Chashme Shahi with its natural spring, and Pari Mahal on the hill above it. In autumn, the Chinar-lined paths through these gardens turn gold as the season progresses.
