Day 2 - Dachigam National Park
• Spot Hangul (Kashmir Stag), Leopards, Black Bear, and Himalayan Birds.
• Talk with park officials about conservation challenges.
• Return to Srinagar for a group discussion.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3 - Wetland Study
• Excursion to Manasbal Lake to study macrophytes and aquatic plants.
• Continue to Wular Lake, Asia’s largest freshwater lake.
• Birdwatching for migratory ducks, geese, and herons.
• Study wetland ecosystems and the local fishing community.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4 - Glaciers and Geology
• Day trip to Sonamarg valley.
• Study glacial formations, alpine meadows, and Himalayan geology.
• Field session on the impact of climate change on glaciers and rivers.
• Return to Srinagar for an evening lecture.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5 - Alpine Meadows - Biodiversity
• Drive to Gulmarg.
• Explore Khilanmarg and the Biosphere Reserve area.
• Study alpine plants, medicinal herbs, and meadow ecology.
• Optional gondola ride for a high-altitude view of the ecosystem.
• Return to Srinagar.
Day 6 - Ecology and Interaction
• Visit Shankaracharya Forests for birdwatching and plant identification.
