• Autumn: Check in and head straight into golden hour at Nishat and Shalimar Bagh, where the chinars have turned deep amber and red against the Mughal stonework — this is the single most photographed frame in Kashmir for good reason. • Autumn: Head to Gulmarg while the pine forests turn a deep rust-gold and the air is at its clearest for the season — ideal for sharp, long-range peak shots with none of summer's haze.
